Bill-please read this one! You mention a Thomas Bibens Roach Joyce below - what more can you tell me about him. If he is the same one I have been looking at for about 30 years without success, then you have my undying devotion! Through a long involved (aren't they all) connection, I have felt that one Thomas Bibens (Bibens being his surname), age 10 living in the Wortham Joyce household in 1850, but listed last after the youngest child, was actually the son of Frankey Bibbins, either indentured to or apprenticed to or just living with the Joyces who were kin. Frankey was a Solomon, and I think, no proof, the daughter of Frances Mayes Solomon, Mayes being kin to Joyces. I have a disagreement of long standing with another Bibbins researcher that Thomas was one of Frankey's, so I'll be delighted if you have any info at all about him that might decide this issue, one way or the other. Thanks so much Eleanor -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Bill Roach" <bmroach63@gulftel.com> > Joyce, > > I haven't been reading all the posts the past few days- but most of them. > I have a little info on the Joyce family- probably not as much as you have, > but > do have some. > Louisa had a sister, Mary Elizabeth Joyce- b.
