The marriages of Dicey Majors (1824) and Sarah Majors (1839) may well be the clues I've been looking for in my effort to find parents and siblings of my Thomas Majors who married Phebe Farmer (nee Leffew) in 1838. I am descended from their daughter, Polly Majors, who married John Bowers in 1857. I take it this is from another compilation of Grainger Co. marriages.
