My husband is a descendant of Daniel Taylor and Jane Rowland. Their daughter Desdemona Taylor-b.Apr 19 1778 married Thomas Turley June 5 1811 in Grainger Co., Tn. Desdemona was the fifth of 13 children born to Daniel Taylor and Jane Rowland. One of the children of Thomas Turley and Desdemona Taylor was named(1)William Holliday Turley and another son was (2)Hon.Thomas Whitesides Turley who married Mary Rodgers Cocke.
