I was looking at my book "Taylors and Tates of the South" and I found a Barbara Leffew who married Robert Turley in 1872. Robert Turley was born 1824 in Grainger Co., TN. his 1st wife was Mary Mayes-b 1826 and she and Robert Turley were married in 1842 in Grainger Co. Barbara (Leffew) Turley moved to Dallas, Tx after the death of Robert Turley in 1910. Mary Mayes was a daughter of James Mayes and Jane Howell. Mary
