Lori, Start with the Grainger County Deed Index. The one roll of microfilm contains Vol. 1-4 and covers Sep. 1797 - Apr 1912. After you have the info from the index, copies can be ordered from the TN State Library and Archives in Nashville. Ordering info and addresses are on their web page. Costs vary as to whether you live in-state or out-of-state. http://www.state.tn.us/sos/statelib/tslahome.htm However, this is a slow process since you can only order one deed at a time. If you need a lot, look for the deed microfilms at a library somewhere. Who are you looking for, and covering what years?
