The only thing I have seen about this was, I think in the archives of Grainger Co. list. He was being assigned to check out a road by the court. I would be very interested in any thing you have. I also find William mentioned 1840 in the will of Martin Cleveland. I think I have other notes on William but can't find them right now. I would be curious to know if you have any info on William related to this overseer job.
