    3. Hi, I am a long way from Grainger County. However, I do think I can answer your question. Tennessee like our states in the midwest started registering births and deaths pretty late. However, the larger cities would have vital records earlier (this is common in many states and something the researcher should be aware of). Grainger County is of course a rural area. :( I hink you will find the information on the webpage below quite helpful.
