    3. Hi Gail, I believe that your Moses was a brother of my Rachel, b. 1793 in Grainger, and son of Ambrose Hodge and Elizabeth (UNK). Rachel had sons Bartholomew and Moses. This William Moses was a son of (possibly) this Bartholomew. The name Moses is still used in my line i.e. G-Uncle Robert Moses Hodge, Uncle George Mose Hodge, and 3rd cousin William Moses Hodge. I'm trying to prove that this Bartholomew was truly Rachel's eldest son, b. 1812. 1804 Tax List -- Capt. Howell's Dist.
