My records show that George Brock NEEDHAM married Nancy BOWERS on 24 Apr 1850 in Grainger Co., TN. They had twelve children. George was born 9 May 1828 and died 26 Jul 1898. George was the youngest of seven children by Polly Bock (Brock?) NEEDHAM. His mother died the day he was born. George's father, whose name is not in my records, married Nancy CHANDLER in June of 1829 and they had seven more children. (George's brother, John Anson NEEDHAM, married Sarah BOWERS, sister of Nancy BOWERS.) Nancy BOWERS was born 28 Mar 1833. She was the daughter of Andrew BOWERS and Katherine HOWETH of Grainger Co., TN. I am descended from Andrew BOWERS and Katherine HOWETH through their son, John BOWERS.
