I am searching for any information on Joseph Douglas b abt 1735. He married (1) Ann Unknown (2) Margaret Stroud. Joseph and Margaret had a son named Berryman DOUGLAS. I have the will of Joseph DOUGLAS (1809). I also know that Berryman married Susannah Bailes October 19,1808 in Grainger Co. Some census records indicate they had two children. One of these two is more than likely my ggg grandfather, Bryant DOUGLAS. Berryman moved with the two children to Rutherford County after 1810. He was on the Grainger County 1810 Census by himself. Could Susannah have died by then? Can anyone offer any help on this.
