I'm not sure how much help I can give you but will try. The best place I have found to do research is McClung Library in Knoxville located on the corner of Clinch and Market Street. There some records at the Court House in Rutledge and the Library there has some Microfilm and a machine you can cope from the microfilm. The Court House is closed on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons. The Library is open on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. I would suggest you stay in Knoxville. There are several Motel at I-40 and Strawberry Plains Pike at exit 398. Holiday Inn, Fairfield Inn, Motel 8 and others and several places to eat. Mary
