We spent two days at the McClung Library in Knoxville about two weeks ago. They were very helpful and we were convinced that they had an extensive genealogical inventory. We went later to Morristown, but they had the same material as the library in Knoxville. There is a parking garage for $3.50 a day next door. We also stayed in Strawberry Plains at Exit 398. We also spent the night in Morristown, but it wasn't necessary. By the way, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are not too far from Strawberry Plains and there are lots of places to stay there! It is also a fun diversion. Have a good trip.
