This message is for Mary who is researching COFFMAN in Grainger Co. Which COFFMANs are you researching? My 3rd great grandfather, Leonard COFFMAN was born in Grainger Co. in 1803. He married a Mary A. ?? there about 1823 and their 3 oldest children: Susanna, Michael and Rinehart were born there. Then the family moved to Indiana. I believe that the Rinehart COFFMAN who was there in the 1830 census could be my Leonard's father, but have not been able to find any proof.
