Hello again, Mary [and any of you other Stubblefield researchers], I guess that it has been almost three years now since we spoke on the phone about the Grainger County Heritage book and the Antrican and McCoy [Harden Cameron's second wife was a McCoy] families and the Moores, too. As you may remember, Louise Murphy and I have found out that she and I are Moore cousins after all. I think that I may have found a descendant of the Lebow line which was connected to the Antricans, but have not had time to follow up on it. I don't remember that we had talked about the Stubblefields. Do you or any other Stubblefield researchers know the parents or family of Minerva Stubblefield, born ca. 1821, who married Wilson Cameron, 16 Nov. 1842 in Grainger County? She died 19 Sep 1895, and is buried with him at Shiloh [M. E. Church] in Rutledge. I also have a connection to the Mayes family through the second wife of my g-g-grandfather James Cameron, Rachel (Grove) Dodson, born ca. 1830, the widow of James Dodson and the daughter of Reuben Grove and Nancy Mayes. Ross Cameron >>> <HLJMLJ@aol.com> 01/03/00 10:51PM >>> I am researching the names of Antrican, Anderkin, Antriken, Yount, Mayes/Mays,Stubblefield, and Manning in Grainger, Hawkins and Hancock Counties. Thanks Mary
