Most of you probably know about this church. Nancy Cassada Nelson has transcirbed the minutes and uploaded them to the Claiborne County Pioneer Project. I don´t know at this time if I will continue as it takes a lot of time, but just for 1802 and 1803 , I found the following 209 people mentioned. There was a Beeler or two on the early tax lists for Grainger. I didnt write down the exact names but I do remeber them. The tax lists are for every year so you can pin down exactly when he was there. They are on film at the FHC. Diana

I need help determining if John Valentine Beeler b. 1737 d. 1824 Grainger Co TN may have been in Lawrence Co. TN in 1817 or 1818. Goodspeed's Lawrence Co TN History names a John Beeler there in 1817. It may have been John V. Beeler Sr. or Jr. John Sr's son Daniel was in Lawrence Co. and I'm thinking that the John named may have been his father or brother. Would appreciate any ideas. Susan
