My ancestors there were in the records as Hollensworth, Hollinsworth, Hollingsworth, Hollandsworth, Holland, Hollen, Hollin. I'm not really sure what the surname really was. Jemima McAnnally was the 2nd of 4 children of David McAnally and Nancy Taylor.. In 1856 at the age of 30, she married John Wesley Stubblefield, a son of Robert Stubblefield and Anna McAnally. In 1860, John and Jemima and their two children were living with parents. In 1868, John Wesley died, leaving Jemima with 3 young children. In 1870, widowed Jemima and her 3 children were living with her parents. Jemima died in 1886, abt age 61. She and John Wesley were buried together in the McAnally Cemetery in Hawkins Co. When the area was scheduled to be flooded in the 1940's, their remains were left in the cemetery. Their 3 children were: 1..Nancy Anna Stubblefield-b. Nov 2 1857 Tn 2..Minerva Jane Stubblefield-b. Jan 2 1859 Tn 3..Thomas David Stubblefield- b. Dec 4 1860 Grainger Co., Tn Daughter Nancy Anna married Will Dotson. Minerva Jane married David R. McAnally, she died in 1909 and was also buried in the McAnally Cemetery.
