Regards, Anna -------- Original Message -------- Subject: help Date: Thu, 17 Jan 2008 09:18:21 EST From: Dorthydie@aol.com To: annao@hcis.net hello i have tried to find my grandfather people hear in giles co no luck been looking for him about 5 years give up throught you might have a new look he eas bornin giles co i was told by him and all records look that way he died when i was verry small he was born in 1871or 1870 to a cox family his name was james cox suppose and some time later was adopted to the nixons or took the nixon mane i found a little boy in the census about 1880as jas living with a nixon family other than his family he was with wm and martha nixon in district 16 i now he went by jas the other time i found him he was married to sally gully nixon which was my grand mother and my mom was with them he had moved to athens ala where he died in 1946 he wood not tell of his people at all never told mom annything i wood really like to now who the coxes were that had him i do now he lived with noxons and maybe lived with mcbrides some time in early years he left giles co at 19 and went to ala he it said his father was from tn.i dont now why you cant find anny thing on him not nothing i can send you a pictur if it wood help no one giles can help i have done everything dont now why his parents got rid of him just really wood like to now his back grown i am 70 my self and have all ways wonted to now of his people i have looked up a lot of people but he took the cake if you cood help i wood apreshate it i live in giles co born and raised in athens ala dorthy ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start the year off right.
