Here is a list of the children of my Joseph P. Woods: M.F. Woods b. abt 1866 (I have spouses CJ and Nora L) Jay H. Woods b. Dec 1868 Texas Wiley W. Woods b. May 1870 Texas B. D. Woods b. Nov 1878 Texas John Hugh b.1868 Neil b.abt1873 Mary J.b.abt 1875 (married a Dr. in Madison County) (Pat)Pardy b.1877 Ruby Woods b. 1855 Mo.(Mother unknown) My Joseph Woods was in Rusk Cherokee County Texas on September 16, 1861 when he married Editha Jane Sanford Lollar. Descendants of Wiley Woods say he was born in Brown county on 22 May 1870. I have not been able to find Joseph on any census in 1860 or 1870. In 1880 he is in Brazos County Tx. His daughter Ruby was married in that county in 21 July 1874 to AC Moody of Arkansas. The above material I have documented. I have long thought that the Joseph Woods in Giles County was my Joseph.
