Hello Everyone, Although the message below concerns a reunion being held in North Carolina this year, I know there are lots of Lewters living in Alabama and Tennessee whose roots are in North Carolina, and they may want to attend this event. Last year's was held in Huntsville, Alabama and was very successful. If you know a Lewter or Luter (who is not interested in genealogy and/or is not a member of this List), would you also please pass this along to them? THANKS, Susan YOU ARE INVITED to the 2nd Annual National LEWTER and LUTER Family Gathering! The 2nd Annual National LEWTER-LUTER Family Gathering will be held Saturday, April 19th at Lake Crabtree County Park, just outside Raleigh, North Carolina from 11 am till the last person leaves, or sunset, whichever comes first. Lake Crabtree County Park is located just off Interstate 40, making it easy to get to from the airport, Raleigh-Durham, or surrounding areas. Our reserved shelter is close to restroom facilities, the children’s play area, and lake. There is one electrical outlet available for our use. The event is free. Please bring a picnic lunch for yourself. If you are related to any Lewter or Luter, please join us for our 2nd annual event. We rotate the location every year, so it may not come back to North Carolina for awhile. · Meet distant cousins for the first time! · Meet with genealogists who have been researching the Lewter-Luter family tree for years. They can help you with your research, and are also interested in learning about your branch of our great Lewter-Luter family! · Learn interesting facts about our early Lewter/Luter ancestors. For example, several of them served in the Revolutionary War. Learn more about your Lewter/Luter roots! · You do not have to carry the name of Lewter or Luter to attend.
