Ireland. I believe this may be the Roger P. Neal of the 1860 census in Maysville, Mason Co.,KY. because at that census the occupation was also stone mason & the age correlates. 1850 census this Roger P. O'Neal was in Jennings Co.,IN with children: Patrick 19 b. Ireland, Johanna 15 b. Ireland, Norah 13 b. Ireland. In the fall of 1850 in Jennings Co.IN Roger P. O'Neal m. Mary Lewis Simmons, a widow with youngest children being Sophronia & Henry Simmons. She is incorrectly listed with the surname of Timmons on the 1850 census. I would like to know if Patrick O'Neil of the 1870 census was the same man of the other 2 mentioned census. Would like to know where & when he died, but mainly my interest is in his Simmons wife.
