I don't know if this helps or not but Marcus Mitchell was the son of William Mitchell and Lucy Hancock.? They were also the parents of William Mitchell, Jr. who married Elizabeth Warren?had a son Thomas Mitchell, who was b. 1790.? Marcus and Thomas are probably those in the census.? I don't have a James unless he is the unknown son of Thomas born 26 May 1787.
