He is my paternal Grandfather, William Henry Mason, brother. I'm not sure where Uncle Carlos grew up; it could be Morgan County or Limestone County Alabama (or any place really; we don't know much). I do know Uncle Carlos lived in Ardmore, Giles County, Tennessee with his wife Peggy. I don't know Peggy's maiden name. As a little girl we would visit them often on their small farm. Carlos and Peggy had 3 children Hoyt (or Hoytt), Terry, and Barbara. Uncle Carlos passed away in December 1980 and Peggy and the children may have passed away as well.
