According to my records, John Henry Birdsong md (1) Eleanor Cardin (1816-1847), dau of Larkin and Rosanna Cardin of Giles Co., TN. They had one son, Thomas Logan Birdsong, b 23 Jan 1845 Giles Co., TN, d 17 Feb 1911 Bethesda, Williamson, TN, bur. Tully Birdsong Cem., Giles Co., TN. Thomas md. Xantippe Adelaide Abernathy. After Eleanor's death, John Henry md. as his second wife Martha E. Johnson in 1848 and the younger children were born to this marriage. John Henry was the son of Henry and Mary (Howse/Howze) Birdsong. According to W. Thomas Carden's "History of Pisgah", John Henry was a local minister. Pisgah is a Methodist Church. I descend from the Cardin family of Giles Co., TN, and they intermarried with Birdsongs on several occasions. I am interested in the information you have, especially on Thomas Logan Birdsong.
