Looking for information on Thomas CHAPMAN who is listed in the Lawrence Co. 1840 Census. I believe he may be my g-g-g-g grandfather and possibly the husband of Fanny Lee (d. of Wm LEE of Giles Co, TN) I know that my g-g-g-g grandmother Fanny was b. 1798 in NC. Her known children are: Malinda b. 1822 TN m. Leander FAULKENBERRY listed in the Giles Co, TN 1840 Census. Thomas H. b.1823 TN m. Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" HOPPERS b. TN or OH Frances (Mary) b.1825 TN m. Sameul STOUT b. 1820 MO Serenah b. 182? TN m. Allen SMITH b. 1804 SC Berry H. b. 1829 TN Tyre (spelled Tiro in a later census) b. 1832 TN Wm C. b. 1833 TN Cynthia b. 1838 TN Tennessee b. 1840 TN Martha J. b. 1843 MO m.
