Hello everyone. I am a descendant of Alexander HOOD (b.abt 1784 in VA), who was living in Giles Co. from at least 1812-1820. He was in Fayette Co.,TN by 1835. His daughter Maranda C. HOOD married Mathew J. REAMES/REAMS probably in the early 1830's. M.J.REAMES (b.July 20,1811 in TN or NC) is my "brick wall" - I don't know where he came from. Does anyone have information on REAMES or HOOD families living in Giles Co. from 1812-1835? I would appreciate any help. Thanks. Sharon sharjaim@sat.net
