Hello, I am also researching a Taylor family in Giles Co., TN. So far, I haven't been able to connect my Taylors to the group your referring to. James H. Taylor b.1817 TN and Lucy Ann Phillips b. 1818 VA were married in 1834 in Giles Co., TN They had the following children: Olivia A., David, Robert, Mary E., Eliza J., John J. and Zachary. They were living in Giles Co. TN in the 1850 Census, but by 1860 they had left, and they don't show up again until the 1870 Census in Henry Co. TN. Does this family sound familiar?
