Giles was formed in 1809, from Maury Co,TN., and you may want to check there... In looking at the Census Index of 1820, I found no "PEERYs" in Giles Co,TN., but I did find 3 "PERRYs": James PERRY (pg# 7) [100010-31010] John PERRY (pg# 7) [100010-20100] William PERRY (pg# 3) [121101-11200] In the 1830 Census Index of Giles Co,TN., I found 2 PERRYs [ no PEERYs]: George PERRY [pg# 51] James PERRY [pg# 49] (note: There were many PEERY families in Hickman Co,TN., in the Indexes.] Roger Hillhouse wrote: > Andrew INMAN, b: Abt 1809 in Giles Cy, TN, d: Abt 1872 in King Prairie, > Barry Cy, MO, Buried: Lee Cemetery Verona, Lawrence, MO, married to > Margaret F.
