Content-type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit X-Mailer: AOL 4.0 for Windows 95 sub 226 Joe, What information I have comes from the 1870 census of Giles County, Tennessee. My great-great-great-grandparents were Newton "Newt" and Frances "Fannie" (Golden) Williams. They were in the area of Bradshaw, TN. Newt was 37 years old, born in Alabama, and a farmer. Frances was 41 years old, born in Alabama, and a housewife. They had one son, William Franklin Williams, age about 5, born in Tenn. They later had another son, Joe, and a daughter, Belle. The family was in Texas by 1880, however, Newt is nowhere to be found. Haven't been able to contact anyone in the family for information. I know this isn't much to go by, but it's all I know about them. Is there any family there that has a relative named Newton that fits mine's description? Thanks for responding.
