William LEE was "of Giles Co., TN" in 1815 when he purchased land "on Richland Creek of the Elk River, just south of Cave (Cove?) Springs Branch." His will was registred 1829 Giles Co. No dower rights , so assume his wife preceded him in death. Children in his will were William W., Edward, Strother, b. 1805 SC, Nancy m. Jacob EITELL, Tempy m. Britton SIMMONS, Cynthia m. James R. HARRELL, and Fannie m. Thomas CHAPMAN. Who was William LEE's wife? Does anyone have any information on Strother LEE's siblings? Anyone know from where in SC this family might have come?
