    1. [TNGILES-L] Caves in Giles Co.

    3. Rob, Your note about caves is very interesting to me. Especially since yesterday, when I was told by a cousin that our ancestors supposedly scratched their names into a cave in Giles county and I told him I would see if I could find any TN cave explorers on internet. He said that the story is passed down in our LEE family that all the oldtimers in the family had scratched their names into a cave wall on the old LEE home place in Giles county. The first LEE in our line, John, came to Giles county about 1812 and supposedly had an estate named 'Vine Bower'. My cousin has done some deed research and thinks he knows where the land is and says that the people around there say that there are two caves there. Can you help me find any new or old cave explorers in the Giles county area?
