Mary asks the location of Little Shoal Creek. On the 1878 Beers map there is a West Fork of Little Shoal Creek beginning near Anthony Hill running SW toward Minor Hill and then SE to below Stella where it joins with the East Fork of Little Shoal Creek. The East Fork begins southwest of Anthony Hill running SW through Stella joining with the West Fork at Mud Bottom near the Alabama border. Dog Branch, Jones Branch and Hanna Branch empty into the East Fork. On a current map "Little" is omitted so you'll see only West Fork of Shoal Creek and East Fork of Shoal Creek.
