Hi all, I am new to the Giles list. My ggrandfather was Henry N. Brashears born circa 1845 in Lawrence Cty. He married (first) in 1869 to M.A. Brownlow in Giles Cty. His second marriage was to Sara Allen circa 1887 possibly Giles. M.A. Brownlow passed away between the early 1880-s and mid 1880's. I would like to locate her death records, and if possible the marriage record for Sara and Henry. Was there an Allen family located in Giles at this time? Also, my ggrandmother tells me Henry was in the Civil War and fought for the Confederacy. To date I have not been able to verify this. Any and all help appreciated. tia, Sheri
