Marbuts is named after a family line of mine. The Marbuts had a general store and post office at a crossroads just east of the main road running from Minor Hill to Pulaski, and was sufficiently close to Minor Hill to probably be considered part of that community. This is all in extreme SW Giles Co., near the borders with Lawrence Co., TN and Limestone & Lauderdale Counties in Alabama.
