    1. [TNGILES-L] Randolph's of Giles Co.
    2. Hi List, I am in need of a little help, again with my Randolph line. According to the IGI James Franklin Randolph & Martha A. Randolph had a son named Samuel Randolph born abt. 1879, Giles Co. Also on the IGI there was a daughter named Mary Jo Randolph but in fact this is Mary Lou Randolph born abt. 1886, Giles Co. parents were listed as James Frank Randolph & Martha Randolph. A daughter named Nancie Randolph was born abt. 1889, Giles Co. parents were listed as James Frank Randolph & Martha Randolph. Emma L. Randolph, born abt. 1893, Giles Co. parents listed as James Frank Randolph & Martha Randolph. Ida Belle Randolph, born same as Emma L. parents listed as James Frank Randolph & Martha Randolph. There was another son, not listed on the IGI, his name was Walter Houston Randolph, born Feb. 1895. According to my grandmother's death certificate, her mother was Babe Randolph, and according to the death announcement of Mary Lou Randolph Long, her mother was also Babe Randolph. Emma L. married Wilson Long, son of Daniel Long and Sarah Johnson. Ida Belle never married but had a child by Wesley Long, son of Daniel Long & Sarah Johnson, the child's name was Rena. Walter H. Randolph married a Randolph, her name was Emma Virginia. I have nothing on Nancie Randolph and Samuel Randolph. There is a James F. Randolph that married Martha A. Randolph on July 22, 1877 in Giles Co. There is a James Randolph that married a Martha Stafford on March 12, 1891 in Giles Co. Could this in fact be the same James Randolph ? Where does the name "Babe" Randolph come in ? As you can see I am somewhat confused. Any & all help would be appreciated. Many thanks in advance. Respectfully Robbie
