    3. Hi Gladys, I'm so glad you posted this. I have long felt that this is where some of my Tyler's were buried, but don't know. This is all thats in the Giles Co Cemetery Book about it. ELKTON CUMBERLAND PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH CEMETERY Location: Highway 31 at Elkton. Once quite a large cemetery, it has been abused and almost destroyed. There are only a few tombstones and vinca minor to remind one that it was ever once a pretty cemetery. Many early residents of Elkton are buried here. George DeJarette Scruggs 25 Sep 1805-18 Apr 1853 Sarah H. consort of George D. Scruggs 16 Mar 1811-16 Apr 1875 Infant son of T. A. & M. E. Hanserd 16 Jan 1868-20 Feb 1868 G. F. Phelps 18 June 1821-26 Jul 1860 Mary Martha, only dau. of George F. and Martha M. Phelps 16 May 1850- 22 May 1854 Age 4 yrs, 6 days ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is really sad that only 5 graves could be identified in this cemetery that was quite large. Its heartbreaking.
