Hi All, I am researching a James H. Taylor b. 1817 TN m. Lucy Ann Phillips b. 1818 TN, m. 1834 Pulaski, Giles Co., TN Children: Olivia A., David, Robert, Mary E., Eliza J., John J. and Zachary This family was living in District #10 in the 1850 Giles Co., TN Census. By the 1860 Census they are gone and they don't show up again until the 1870 Henry Co., TN Census. The Taylors of Giles Co., TN descend from George Taylor b. 1615 and his wife Rebecca Tomlin. I have a lot of info on the descendants of George, who is first found in Rappahannock Co., VA. This family eventually moved on to Henrico Co., VA, which became Chesterfield Co., and then to Henry Co., VA before coming to TN. I believe that James H. Taylor is related, but I cannot connect him to these Taylors until I know who his parents are. Any information on this family would be appreciated. I would be happy to share what I have on the Taylors, including the Worshams, several of which married into this Taylor family.
