Hi, This message will be going to several lists so I am sorry if you get more than one. I have my husband's family traced back to when they came to the states so now I am interested in getting documents to prove my findings. How difficult is is working with the state, counties and the town clerks in getting BMD records. I am working within the time frame of about 1822 to about 1880. I have done this sort of work before with my family and one state has been a nightmare. I always give the example that with my particular state, it is far easier to pull teeth from a hungry shark than it is to get any form of document from these people.
