Looking for the parents of Joseph Bennett b. 1816 in giles Co, Tn. He had a sister Minerva Bennett b 1813 and Malinda Bennett b??, and two brothers Thomas b? 1809 and Jacob b??. The only information we have is on Joseph (our line) and Minerva Bennett. And family records state that they came from Giles Co, Tn, but FROM where we dont know? It is possible that their father was a BENJAMIN BENNETT. The family moved to Wayne Co, Ms before 1820 and their is a Benj listed there with the correct number of children. This is all I have to go on at the present time. What type of records could I find back that far? in Giles Co, Tn?? Does anyone have a Bennett family listed in that time frame??
