I would like to add my two bits into the TUCKER area. I am seeking info on a Martha TUCKER, reportedly dau of Levi TUCKER. Levi may have been from N. Carolina. She was born abt 1842 prob in Giles Co. She had a son she named John Franklin TUCKER who was born 1865. Does anyone have any knowledge of this child and who his father was? Martha later married a John SWEENEY, but he is not thought to be the father of John. Martha is buried at Mt.Zion across the line in Lawrence Co. Does anyone know anything about a John Franklin BLACK (1847-1894)? There is notion that he may have been John's father.... Any help on this is most appreciated!
