I would like to make contact with some one who has any information on Benjamin Slaton of Giles County. Benjamin married Mary ? with the following children in the 1870 Giles county census>Benjamin F., Amandy, LaFayette, Eliza< I have reason to believe that William H. Slaton would be the brother to Benjamin. William H. Slaton married Alitha Grisham of Lauderdale County. William H. died at the home of Benjamin and is buried at Prospect Tenn. There is also a Benjamin Slayten/Slayton that married Eliza Carter Smithson on March 2, 1837 in Williamson Tenn. Does anyone know if these two connect?
