Trying to locate any descendants of Dr. Robert Beal Gardner, born 8 Jul 1828 or 1829, in Warren Co., GA, died 9 Oct 1882 in Giles Co.,, TN, buried in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Robert was a doctor in the Civl War. After coming to Giles County, he was engaged in farming and was prevailed on to accept the principalship of the high school in Pulaski. He married Susannah Brown Gorham. Their children buried in Chestnut Grove cemetery were: Susie E. Bishop (19 Mar 1871 - 19 Dec 1905), Willis Sterling Gardner (8 Jul 1867 - 22 Nov 1908) and Mary Emily "Emma" Russell. Other children are: Walter Gorham Gardner, Sarah Neal Gardner, Fannie Beal Gardner, Robert Lee Gardner, George McDowell Gardner, and John Smith Gardner. Any help appreciated, Sue
