Has anyone run across mention of either (or both) of these families in Giles County? At least one researcher in the past believed that the Micajah LINDSEY/Elizabeth McCLERKIN and John DAVIS/Mary HAWKINS families were both there some time between 1800 and 1820, by which time they were in Alabama. After the move to Alabama, there were at least three marriages between the children of these two families: Jane Lindsey married Matthew Davis, Bazzle Lindsey married Mary (Polly) Davis and Holland Lindsey married Sarah Davis.
