Alabama) m Sarah Jane Davis (b 7 Mar 1839) when? where? My descent is through the Lindsey and Davis lines, but the name Holland has been used in various branches of my Lindsey line for at least 4 generations now, including Holland Lindsey, Bazel Holland Lindsey, James Holland Lindsey. We believe Holland Lindsey may have been born in Giles County (in 1807) before his father Micajah C Lindsey moved on to north Alabama and later Mississippi. Micajah and his wife Elizabeth McClurkin were in Rutherford County North Carolina, Spartanburg County South Carolina and probably Christian County Kentucky before moving to middle Tennessee for a few years before and after 1810.
