Mary Shields Stephenson,age 64,S.C. Samuel Stephenson's father was a Robert Stephenson,so Samuel named one of his son's for his father. Pauline Gandrud copied the courthouse records for Madison Co,Alabama. In one of her books she mentions Susan F. Stephenson and husband Robert Stephenson,Mary Clutts,and Sally Maddox of Giles Co,TN. I think James B. Stephenson had died and Sally Maddox attended the funeral. I lost my copy the record,but if anyone has access to Pauline Gandrud's books on Madison Co,Alabama, Sally Maddox is mentioned.
