This is the third time and last time I have posted this . Write down the number of the Land Grant, the date, the county and the name you are researching for these grants. Check on line to see if TN Mail Secretary of State office is listed. If so, ask do they have the NC Land Grants into TN that you can order from? Ask how much and what E Mail can to send your question about obtaining a Land Grants or Mailing Address. Many of these grants were never lived on. Some of the soldiers sold them as soon as they could, Not all did that. Do not let the county name deter you locating a number. The counties have changed several times since early NC gave part of NC to TN. That is all I can help you with.
