I have mentioned several times that those who want a copy of a NC Land Grant in TN should contact the TN Secretary of State office [ they are probably on line?]. Give them the number, date, county and name of the one you are interested in. Ask them first to be sure they have the original copies. Ask HOW MUCH a copy will cost you. {NOT YOUR LOCAL SECRETARY OF STATE- MUST BE TN MAIN OFFICE} If they insist they do not have the original's contact the TN State Archives and tell them what you need.
