A fire destroyed the building that housed the land warrants in 1800, and as a result there is no further information available about this Samuel Montgomery. There is a 9 page record of requests for his Military Service, probably from women desiring to join the DAR, at HeritageQuest.com. Most major libraries have free access to HeritageQuest.com.
