To use Topozone to find a cemetery in any state. Go to. _www.topozone.com_ (http://www.topozone.com/) then select view maps from the brown menu bar near the top of the page. That will give you a state selection. From there follow the link to the State. _http://www.topozone.com/viewmaps.asp_ (http://www.topozone.com/viewmaps.asp) From there follow the link to the county of your choice. In this instance this is for Marshall County _http://www.topozone.com/states/Tennessee.asp?county=Marshall_ (http://www.topozone.com/states/Tennessee.asp?county=Marshall) Next select the geographical feature you are interested in, which in this case is Cemetery. Click on that and the cemetery listing will appear for you to browse. (that list of all geographical assets in itself is another historical treasure. These old topographical maps were typically drawn up in the 1950s and most of them still have the house & building placements for homes then.) Next scroll down the page until you find the alpha listing of the cemetery you are interested in and click on that. That will bring up a small topographical map that will have a red cross placed on it at the longitude and latitude of the cemetery. You may not know from there where you are? If not then check the box from Small (of the selection Small/Medium/Large) to Large to cause the map to print large enough for you to see more of the map names of the roads. When that prints out if you are still not clear as to how to get to this place drop down the "view scale" box and select size 200,000 scale. If you are still confused as to where you are then repeat the process and go to a larger scale of 500,000. By then maybe you can see Nashville and major roads that will allow you to see the nearest road to your cemetery. Notice your cemetery is still placed with the red cross no matter how large the scale of the map. Another site that allows this kind of investigation if Epodunk.com. Their maps are road maps and you can get a different perspective there. Both of these sites use GSIS mapping service to place the cemetery locations on the maps. Hope you find what you are looking for.
