William had eight siblings: Jane W. (born in 1823 at Mecklenburg,Va. married James Milton Brownlow) Benjamin M.(my gr.gr.grandfather born in 1824.) Caroline (born in 1829 at Mecklenburg Va. married Henry Yant), Robert Burton(born 1830 in Tenn.), Albert Archer (born in 1834 in Giles Co and died in 1911 in Harmon Co., Ok.), Peter H. (born in 1838 in Giles), George F. (born in 1840 in Giles) Mary R. (born in 1842 in Giles; Married Daniel Nipp in 1860) One can assume that the family left Va. in 1829 since Robert was born in April of 1830. For some reason most of the brothers and sisters had left Giles Co. by 1870. Some went to Ok., Texas and others moved to other counties in Tenn (Dyer and Lauderdale). Hopefully this little bit of information will help you in your search. Do you know if William James and Narcissa moved to Texas? Where did James Milton and Jane W. settle in Texas?
