Annie Mae was the daughter of William R. and Florence (Curtis) Stanford. Jody and Annie Mae had 12 children. The Hargrove-Johnson Memorial Bridge connecting Tennessee and Alabama was named for John Nolan Hargrove and Jody Johnson.
